Canton has lost another great LEGEND! Mrs. Grant was soooo instrumental in the development of the talents I was blessed by GOD with. The Hartford Jr. High concert choir and the Gospel Ensemble of 1979-1981 was the BEST and MOST REQUESTED school choir EVER! and Mrs. Grant and the late GREAT Marian Crenshaw guided and nurtured us kids as if we were there own! NO ONE could "bang on dem keys" like Mrs. Joanne Grant. YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN! I know Mrs. Crenshaw was elated when she saw you coming through the golden gates of HEAVEN!....now the dream team can make beautiful music together again....this time IN HEAVEN with the other angels! Don't R.I.P.....yall ladies "make some noise up in there!" Love you Mrs. Grant!!!
