VALERIE M. DARDIE

Valerie Marcel Dardie (58 Years Old) gained her wings  April 22nd,2025. Valerie was born April 29th, 1966, to Father Joseph C. (Chill) Russell Sr., and Mother Pearly Mae Deloris (Lois) Clemmons. Valerie was the 5th child born, of 10 siblings. She graduated from Garfield High School in 1984. Valerie continued her education as a cosmetologist for a short period but ultimately received her college degree as a medical assistant.  

Valerie had a passion for singing, she was in a Gospel group called the “BT Ensemble”, where she sang with her two siblings, and later joined her family's church choir. Valerie had a melodious voice that touched so many loved ones, as she sang one of her favorite songs by Whitney Houston, the 1986 classic "Greatest Love of all".   

Valerie's hobbies also included cooking. Valerie loved watching her favorite TV shows on “The Food Network”. She would create her own recipes, while still holding on to the traditional way, she was taught. She also was a huge football fan and watched her favorite football team the “Denver Broncos”. In her spare time, Valerie entertained herself by playing cards and puzzles games on her electronic devices. 

Valerie loved her children endlessly. She conceived 6 children; from her children, she was blessed with 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grand child. Valerie was preceded in death by her Parents: Joseph C. (Chill) Russell Sr., and Pearly Mae (Lois) Deloris Clemmons. Sister; Alfreda JoAnn Russell, Son; Edmund Jerome (Poodie/Bone) Bell Jr., and nephew; Eric (Easy) Russell.  

Valerie is survived by her husband, William (DOE) Dardie. Children: Marisha (Eash) Russell, Christopher (Russ) Russell Sr., Sir Charles (Snoop/Sauty) Russell, Tatyana (TeeTee) Bell, Edmund (Poodie/Bone) Bell Jr., and Elijah (Eli) Bell. Her Grandchildren: Der’Veontè (Der) Russell, Christopher A. Russell Jr., Layani Russell, Laniya Russell, Brianna Russell, Airri’Ana Bell, Torri’Ana Bell, Ivy'Ana Brooks, Ayric Bell, Bri’Erica Bell, Journee Bell, Elijah Bell Jr. 

Valerie's Siblings: Cindy Murphy, Joseph C. Russell Jr., Olivia Hopkins, Demetrius Russell Sr.,Tony Russell, Jason Russell, Angela Russell and Joelicia Russell. Addition to a host of Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
