TITO CONNER Obituary

Tito Lamar Conner was born on December 26th, 1973 in Canton, OH to Melinda Andrews. He grew up and lived in the greater Canton area all his life. He attended both Canton South High School and GlenOak High School where he met and made many friends along the way. He was raised at and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior while attending Greater Bethel Apostolic Church, Canton, OH, under Pastor Ralph M. Byrd. As an adult, he became a member of Apostolic Faith Assembly Church, Canton, OH. While worshipping there, he was called to be an apostolic minister, and he graciously and joyfully accepted that calling. He served there many years under Pastor Dr. Kermit J. Greene, and later served under Bishop William B. Smith Sr until his passing. He departed his life suddenly following a car-motorcycle collision on Monday evening, May 24th, 2021. Minister Tito Conner was 47 years old.

He was a dedicated and highly respected employee at United Parcel Service (UPS) where he was employed for over 20 years. He had played on the AFA church baseball team, called Sons of Destiny. He also coached Canton City midget football teams and GlenOak Freshman football teams for many seasons.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James and Betsy Conner. Minister Tito Conner leaves to cherish his memory: his beloved daughter and sons, Alexis, Tre, and Bryon; his beloved mother, Melinda Andrews; two brothers: Troy Lowe, Sr and Jerry Lowe, Jr, all of Canton, OH; his special ‘bro’ friends, The Charlene Boys; a special friend, Rozalind Jones; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends he encouraged, advised, coached, mentored, ministered to, and met along the way.

And everywhere he went, he left a proud example and seed of hope that the next generation would reach higher and grow stronger and never give up trying… because as long as you try, there is hope for a better tomorrow.
