TIMOTHY A. HORN

Timothy Horn departed this life on December 25, 2025, at Cleveland Clinic Akron General surrounded by his loving family. 

Tim was born May 19, 1968, in Akron, Ohio to the late Barbara Horn and Johhny Cartwright. He attended Akron Public Schools. Tim was considered a pretty boy and ladies' man. He enjoyed skating and playing basketball. if you knew Tim you knew he loved riding motorcycles. You may have heard the story about him riding through the hallway at East High School. He took pride in working and fixing cars. He loved music. You couldn't tell him he couldn't sing or dance. 

Tim was a handyman and worked for various companies over the years. His last employment was with Redwood Companies. Recently in the past few years you could definitely see the change in him. He worked very hard to change his life around. He was driven to be better and do better. Tim loved and enjoyed being around his kids and grandkids. All his daughters were truly daddy's girls. Tim was an all-around cool and caring guy. To know him was to love him. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Simmons; father, Johnny Cartwright; stepfather, Clarence Simmons; siblings, George, Courie, Terry; nephew, Mike Jones, and Vincent Jr. 

Timothy leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Nyisha, Tymia, Tyisha, and Teosha; sons, Nykko and Tim Jr.; siblings, Nicky, Monique, Vincent, Freddie, Larry, and Denise; fiancée, Kimberly; grandchildren, Zyin, Nyah, Dashawn, Santino, Anthony, Taleah, Chrieshun, Timya, Analaya, Nykko Jr., Tianah, Midajah, Marquentin, Alana, Tayvon, Melanea, Neveah, Kyler, Zuriah, Layomie; great-grandson, Zahir; special sons, DayDay and Meech; pet, Patches, 

The family of the late Timothy Horn wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation the many comforting acts and expressions of kindness, visits, donations, cards, food, flowers, and more. We extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you and appreciate everyone for being with us during this difficult time. Everything and all are appreciated.
