THELMA WALLS Obituary

Mother Thelma Walls was born December 19, 1925 in Canton, Ohio to the late Henry and Diana Nelson.  On June 6, 2022 Mother Walls gained her wings, when her Heavenly Father came to take her home.

Mother Walls was an active member of Mt. Another contribution to the church that she loved was making green beans for EVERY function!  That was her dish!

Her love for her family was always expressed though her time, dinners, and talks.  Her generous spirit was immeasurable. Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Generosity, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control, radiated  from her.

She loved music and danced all the time at the drop of a beat. She would dance even to a  television commercial if the beat was catchy. She enjoyed going on family vacations every year, which included cruises on fabulous ships, road trips and jet setting from time to time. She was on the go constantly with her sister Rita.  There love for each other was undeniable. The were not just sisters they were best friends.

Amongst her many accolades, she has an  award from the Co-Op Social Civic Club. Mother Walls was a social butterfly, and was a member of the Fun and Travel Club, which she enjoyed with her best friends: Mrs. Ann Reynolds, Mrs. Helen Blackshear, Mrs. Essie Collins, Mrs. Irene Inman, Mrs. Myrtle Turner, Mrs. Mae Sims, and Mrs. Lilly Johnson .  She was also a member of the prestigious Red Hat Society, under the leadership of her sister Rita as the President. They lived liked Siamese twins and enjoyed life together, especially serving the Lord.

In addition to her parents, Mother Walls is preceded in death by her loving husband, Caeser Walls; precious little sister, Rita Marie Barrett; sons, Charles Henry Tomas and Preston Laveante Rowser; son-in-law, Jimmie L. Burks Sr.
