He is preceded in death by his wife Gloria Lee; parents, Rosie Arrington Bomar and Guy Bomar Sr.; (2) sisters, Evelyn Jowers and Delores Bomar Watson.
Scipio leaves to cherish his memory (2) sons, Parnell Stokes of Canton, Ohio and Eric Kennard of Guymon, Oklahahoma; (1) daughter, Patricia Stokes (Melvin) Carroll of Massillon, Ohio; (2) step-daughters, Lynnetta Devereaux, Roderick Jeter of California and Loretta Lee of Canton, Ohio; (1) sister, Lucy Montgomery of Detroit, Michigan; (3) brothers, Guy (Perri) Bomar jr. of Wilmongton, North Carolina, Melvin Bomar of Detroit, Michigan, and Norman Bomar of San Diego, California; (12) Coco Kennard, Eric Kennard Jr., Scipio Kennard, Kingston Kennard, Aja Stokes, Alyse Stokes, Alana Stokes, Mel Givens, Mehkye Givens, Antonette Givens, Moses Givens, Moses Givens, Eric Stephens II, and a great grandfather to many. He also leaves his band of brothers, Ricky D., Smitty, Jay, and Phil, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and others who loved him dearly.
