SAMUEL WILLIAMS, III

Samuel Williams, III was born February 8, 1989 and departed this life May 9, 2025. He was born in Akron, Ohio and attended Akron Public Schools. 

Samuel was preceded in death by sister Elizabeth Chambliss, brother-in-law Ian Boykin, grandparents Samuel & Dorothy Williams, Robert Proctor, Herman & Norvia Baines and aunt Maricia Pruiett.

Left to cherish his memory are parents Samuel Williams, Jr. and Mona Proctor, children Adonis Williams, Karson Thomas and Amiyha Dunn, brothers Travius Proctor, Sr., Jaquan Proctor, Derrick Chatman, Johnte’ Hamilton, sisters Tracy (Wayne) Hauser, Sakeenah Proctor, special friends Te’Aira, Antoine, Purp, George, BG, Wanda, Shay and a host of family and friends.

Samuel was self-employed. He enjoyed rehabbing houses. Much like both of his grandfathers you could often find him working on projects around the house. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with family and friends. He was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, cousin and friend. His devotion to his children was immeasurable. He spent quality time with each child assuring them of his love for them. Samuel was full of love and compassion. He was an encourager and touched the lives of many people. He loved to laugh and could light up a room with his smile. Samuel and his mom had a very special bond. She once gave him a prayer pillow which he prayed with often. He enjoyed spending time with family and attended every family gathering, ready to party and have fun.
