QUINTON "TERRY" POOLE

Celebrating the life of Quinton Terry Poole, born May 19, 1953, Quinton affectionately known as Terry, was born to the late Sam and Willie Mae Poole. 

Terry never allowed his disability to hinder his life. To know him was to love him. He never met a stranger. Terry enjoyed being outside, he loved being outside so much that he would be gone for days. The family wouldn't worry but we would find him hanging out at the sand pile on Thornton St., enjoying his older brother Adrian also known as "Squirrel" play softball, or at Bob Roy's and the HIDE HO collecting money. The people in the neighborhood called him "pimping Terry". The ladies loved him and would give him money; you had no choice but to give it after that smile of his. He will truly be miss by all. 

Terry was also known for hanging out in downtown Akron at the police station, where he was given a badge, clip board, walkie talkies, and police scanner. Terry's smile will be missed!

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Adrian Coleman, Jessie Eatman; uncles, Nathaniel Coleman, Willie King Jr.; grandparents, Henry and Louise Coleman. 

He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Andrea Poole of Akron, Ohio, Ivy Eatman of Hempstead New York, Rita Cotheran of Kentucky; brothers, Tobias (Sabrina) Poole of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Michael (Sheri) Poole of Akron, Ohio, Randy (Lovei) Cotheran of Dayton, Ohio; sister-in-law, April Coleman; special aunt, Evern Clark; special caretaker, Bridget Banks; special friend, Lois Tyler; special nephews, Antonio Poole of Indiana, Gavin Rocker and Gabrial Poole both of Akron, Ohio; nieces, Sheynce Poole, Tiffany Poole, both of Akron, Lenora Dyson of Clarksville, Tennessee, Robina Smith and Lauren Poole both of California; special caretaker Victor Dandrea; special cousin, Curly Jean Solomon of Akron, Ohio.
