PEARL TUCK Obituary

Pearl L. (Lowery) Tuck went home to be with our Lord, September 3, 2021.  She was born on October 11, 1931 in Luverne, Alabama to Rosa L. (Steele) Lowery and E.L. Lowery.  She was raised in Massillon, Ohio.

Pearl retired from the Hoover Company.  She was a faithful member of Mount Calvary 2nd Missionary Baptist Church.  She was on the Trustee Board and served as the church Clerk for many years.  She was a former member of Friendship Baptist Church in Massillon, Ohio.  Pearl was a member of the YMCA Seniors Friends, Mercy Medical Senior Friends,   East Canton Historical Society, East Canton AARP, Aultman Primetime and volunteered for the Canton Players Guild.  She was also a member of WATOES/Seniors Programs, Forever Young Group at Canton Baptist  Temple and Senior Day At Foltz Center. 

Pearl was a great believer in God, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.  She was a giving person, forever concerned, loving and caring for us and others.  She was deeply concerned about the elderly and children.  She taught her children and grandchildren to always put God first.  Her spirit will live on within them forever. 

Preceded in death by her husband, Virgil W. Tuck (1977); mother, Rosa (Lowery) Toles (1993); brothers, Willie Lowery and Reddock Lowery, and special friend, Mitchell Watkins.

Pearl is survived by daughters, Francine “Fran” Pugh of Canton, Vanessa “Van” Ward of Las Vegas, Nevada; son, Victor “Skip” Tuck of Atlanta, Georgia; grandsons, Ché R. Bryant of Atlanta, Georgia and Richard “Ricky” L. Ward, III (Amanda) of Scottsdale; granddaughters, Camille C. Ward of Las Vegas, Nevada and Ashley N. Tuck of Atlanta, Georgia; (1) step-grandson, James Pugh Jr. and step-granddaughter, Donita Pugh both of Canton, Ohio; (1) great granddaughter, Stella S. Ward-Alberti of Scottsdale, Arizona; sister-in-law, Patricia (Jimmy) Hick; godchildren, Cara   Harris, Idara Nwa, Jakitoro Nwa, Ayama Nwa, Ifiok Nwa, Esq and Uko Nwa, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
