NELL DELORES TYSON

Nell D. Tyson was born March 31,  1932 in Logan, West Virginia to Rosa Hamilton and William Patterson. She was adopted by Ollie and Annie Johnson. After years of illnesses she departed this life July 10th 2020. She was 88 years old.  She was married to George Austin Sr., who is deceased. From that marriage George Austin Jr. and Eugene were born. Later she married Lavelle Houston who is deceased. To this marriage Alfredrick, Carl, and Sylvia Houston were born. Later she married Johnson “Tub” Tyson who is also deceased. Nell loved shopping, wearing nice clothes and hats. She also loved cooking, traveling, planting flowers and gospel music. Nell belonged to Monroe Neighborhood outreach and the Red hatter’s Women’s Hat Club.  She was a faithful member of Deliverance Church for over 35 years. She graduated from Arocoma High School in Logan, W. Virginia. She also owned a restaurant stand. She worked at Molly Stark Hospital for several years and retired from Aultman Hospital after 18 years of service. She was preceded in death by her mother Rosa and father William, brother Robert Wilson, sisters Lillian Johnson and Francis Jones, adopted parents Ollie and Annie Johnson, husband Johnson “Tub” Tyson, sons George and Eugene Austin and her loving daughter Sylvia Houston.  She leaves to cherish her memories two sons

Alfredrick Houston, Canton, Ohio and Carl Houston of Houston, Texas; nieces and nephews Wanda(Charles) Williams, Chicago, Illinois, Carol(Darrel) Dickey, Canton, Ohio, Arthur Doyle Jr. Chicago, Illinois, Myrna Doyle Kokoma, Indiana; Grandchildren   Dewon (Audra)Turpin Orlando, Florida, Eugenia (Lebaron) Fisher Detroit Michigan, Tanesha Longshore, Canton, Ohio,  Marcus Houston Canton, Ohio, William (Jennifer) Warren, Carell Houston, Charlotte, North Carolina, She Rona(Ronald) Smith Columbus, Ohio, Adrian (Lance) Bradley New Jersey. She left 11 great grandchildren Corey Lipkins, Jr., Tanisha, Shaterra and Dewon II Turpin, Courtney Chester, Krishauna Fisher, Leyla and Lexi Bradley and Nehemiah, Noah and Zion Smith.  8 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law Alice Crockett Alliance Ohio, 2 daughter-in-laws Linda(Eugene) Austin Canton, Ohio and Leslie (George) Austin of Hercules, California, a host of great friends Brenda Hall, Elena Long, Sharon Spencer, Genie Campbell, Jim and Deloris Weir and host of Christian brothers and sisters.
