MWAMBA T. ROBERTSON

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mwamba T. Robertson, who left us far too soon on August 16, 2025. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on October 10, 2002, to Ngolwa Jane Sakala and Kenneth Maurice Robertson, Mwamba was a bright light in the lives of all who knew him.

Mwamba’s life journey took him between Cleveland, Dallas, and Lusaka, Zambia. He graduated from high school in Lusaka in 2019 and had since built a strong work ethic, maintaining steady employment with Amazon.

Known for his vibrant personality and unforgettable spirit, Mwamba had a love for life that was truly contagious. His smile could brighten even the darkest day. He was passionate about soccer—a sport through which he expressed his determination, teamwork, and joy. A talented player and devoted fan, he was eagerly preparing to attend a soccer convention in Spain in the coming weeks.

In addition to his love for the game, Mwamba was an avid traveler with a deep curiosity about the world. He explored many states and countries, always seeking new experiences and connections.

Mwamba is survived by his Dear mother, Ngolwa Sakala; his Beloved father, Kenneth Robertson, (Stephanie); his cherished sisters, Ashley Askew and Panashe Niza Ndanga; and his devoted brothers, Donovan (Nur), Marlon (Natalie), Trey, and Joshua Robertson; his only nephew who was more like his brother, Kieron "Man-Man" Smith, He will also be deeply missed by his many uncles, aunts, cousins, and a wide circle of friends and loved ones.

Mwamba’s energy, laughter, and light will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.
