Michael Anthony James Henry Rogers was born March 12, 1959 to the late Jennie Rogers-Hardnett and the late Mac Blair. He departed this life unexpectedly on December 30, 2020 at the age of 61.
Michael served in the U.S. Army for three years and was honorably discharged.
He was a member of Providence Baptist Church, he loved music, was an avid sports fan and a die-hard fan of the Cleveland Browns. His gift was in basketball where he earned a nick name of ("Rooster") in high school. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, son and friend.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father and leaves to cherish his memory, Evelyn Jenkins ( His Heart); daughter, Ryeshia Jenkins; son, Brandon Wilson of Atlanta, GA; two grandsons and a granddaughter; sister, Melvina Rogers; (Stepdad) Johnny Hardnett and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, cousins, other relatives and good friends.
