MICHAEL STALLWORTH

Michael Andre Stallworth 67, was born to Ned and Anna B. Stallworth in Akron, Ohio.  Michael attended the Akron Public Schools. He graduated from Garfield High School, Class of 1976. Michael began employment with the Akron Board of Education at the age of 17. After working 30 years, he retired as Head Custodian at the age of 47. Michael was married to his high school sweetheart Beverly Mapp for nearly 50 years. 

After retirement they moved to Sarasota Florida.  Michael loved his children and grandchildren.  He enjoyed carpentry projects. He could build just about anything. He spent retirement enjoying the simple things in life traveling, cruises, grilling, and maintaining their home. 

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Melvin Stallworth, sister's Ruby (Patsy) Gurley, and Vallie Mae Walker. 

Michael is survived by his wife Beverly; children, Shajuana Stallworth, Kristina (John) Williams, LaToya (Tony) Jones, and Michael (Megan) Stallworth II; (15) grandchildren, (6) great grandchildren; brother, Ned Kelvin (Judy) Stallworth and Matilda Lee.
