MICHAEL D IDLEY

Michael D. Idley departed this life on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.  He was born on May 9, 1971, in Akron, Ohio to Claudia Boyd Idley and Michael D. Curry.

Michael was employed by Parker's Cleaners as Project Manager. He was also a very passionate barber and an excellent painter.  He attended East High School, and he was a member of St. Ashworth Temple Church. Michael enjoyed singing, karaoke, entertaining people and traveling. He was very good at organizing functions with family and friends. 

Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents Callie B. and James H. Idley Sr. 

Michael leaves to cherish his memory, his wife LaTanya Idley of 25 years; children, NorShawnda Holley Idley, LaTisha (Carlos) Parker, Forrest (Kayla) Fisher, Dale (Keon) Truitt, Rashanda Woods, Mykia Johnson; stepchildren, Jasmyne Gibson, Michael (Angel) Gibson, Mykal Gibson; his loving mother, Claudia Boyd Idley; father, Michael D. Curry; sister, Monica Idley; special niece, Monique Idley; great nieces, Sanae and Saniya; grandchildren, Johnathen, Kennedy, LaCara, Carleeah, Carlos III, Carlee, LaCari, Brooklynn, Kingston, Kasey, Kelsey, Forrest Jr, Sonni, Kynlee, Tori, Bella, Kali, Gianni, Maliyah, Myari, Michael III, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
