Marsha Sue Pressley was born to Stephen Sr., and Mary Pressley on April 26, 1948, and departed this life on April 30, 2023, after a long battle with multiple conditions. Marsha graduated from McKinley Sr. High School and attended Kent State University She was the first Black Librarian at the Dehoff branch of Canton City Library. She worked as a caseworker for Stark County and Franklin County Department of Jobs and Family Services, where she retired after 35 years of service. From birth, she was a member of Mt. Zion C,O.G.I.C until she moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1974, where she joined Liberty Temple COGIC, under the leadership of Elder W.C. Cupe. Marsha worked heavily, and under the anointing at both churches in the music department. Marsha moved back to Canton, Ohio after the passing of her mother, to take care of her father; and she cared for him until his passing in 2012. She took up right where she left off in the music department at Mt Zion COGIC and she worked until her health no longer allowed it. Marsha was preceded by her parents, Stephen and Mary Pressley Sr., and her sister Sherryl "Dottie" Pressley. Marsha leaves to morn and cherish her memory; brothers, Stephen (Grace) Pressley Jr., of Akron, Ohio Pastor Michael (Yvonne) Pressley Sr., of Canton, Ohio; sister; Selena Johnson of Canton, Ohio, a host of nieces, nephews, special nephew/Godson Michael (Adrianne) Pressley Jr., great-nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; the Mt Zion and Liberty Temple COGIC church families.
