MARGIE A. OWENS
Obituary
Mrs. Margie Ann Chancellor Owens was born on January 29, 1938, in equality to Orise and Lizzie B Huntley Chancellor. She was one of five children to this union.
She was employed by Akron City Hospital as a nurse and later employed by Valley View Nursing Home for over 28 years. She departed this life on August 23, 2023, in Akron, Ohio after a short illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents Orise and Lizzie Chancellor; brothers, Robert, Lewis Sr., and Willie Joe Chancellor; and two sons, Andre Reynolds Chancellor and Billy Owens.
She leaves to cherish her memories, loving son, Jimmie J. Hatcher (Debra Young); two brothers, Clint Chancellor, and Joseph (Kay) Chancellor, all of Akron; 12 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
