MACK CLEVELAND LATHION, JR.

Mack Cleveland Lathion, Jr. was called home by his heavenly father on April 15, 2022. Mack was born on September 29, 1943 in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi. Mack loved to work on cars, go fishing, and always lend a helping hand to others. He enjoyed having a good time with family and friends. Mack will be remembered for his love of dancing and singing. 

Mack is preceded in death by his parents, Mack Cleveland Lathion and Rutha Mae McCrary, his sister, Bessie Mae Young, his son, Mack Cleveland Lathion, III, and his nephew, Thomas Lee Allison. 

Mack is survived by his son, Guy Lathion (Mellisa) and his daughter, Vedetta Denny, and also Chenoa and Shawn Kuntz. He is survived by his sister, Florine McCrary (Ray) and his brother, Robert McCrary (Marezella), and his other sisters, Dorothy Hyde (Woody), Cynthia Sparks (Ed), Maxine Marshall, Carol Taylor, Patricia Lathion, Marsha Lathion, Shelia Lathion, and Barbara Smith (Frank). Mack has 18 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Mack was a favorite uncle of his niece, Mariah Campbell (Fred) and great-nieces, R’ajja and Saisha Turpin-Allison.
