Lois (Thompson) Bailey was born on May 11, 1961 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the sixth of eight children to Edward and Norma Thompson.
She attended school at John Adams High, where she studied College Preparatory Courses. Lois possessed a loving and gregarious nature, with a with a welcoming attitude toward anyone and everyone who knew her. She worked hard, volunteered in the community and she also loved the Lord. Lois had many talents as such one being an amazing cook, another socially outgoing, and a love of family and people.
Preceded in death by her parents Edward Skip and Norma Jeanne (Chesney) Thompson; brothers, Chris Thompson, Brad Tumors, and Major Barnes.
Lois leaves to mourn: her husband, Scott Bailey; (4) children, Chesney Thompson, Kalil, Kaleya, and Kavohn Bailey all of Canton, Ohio; siblings, Edward Thompson III of Coatesville, Pennsylvania, Dale Thompson of Geneva On The Lake, Ohio, Victor Thompson of Cleveland, Ohio, Cory Thompson of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ivan Thompson of Washington, D.C., Marlan Thompson of Canton, Ohio, Derik Barnes of Columbus, Ohio, April Barnes of Canton, Ohio, and Arthur Barnes of Canton, Ohio; special aunt, Rosetta Johnson-Davis of Canton, Ohio, as well as a host of other family and friends.
