LILY JOANN BURTON

Lily Joann Burton 86.5 went home to be with the Lord on March 5, 2023. Lily had many jobs last working for Dr. Dennis and Phyllis Weiner. Lily attend Arlington church of God and hosted many style shows. Lily was born on July 15, 1936 in Massillon, Ohio to the late Mattie Lou Kirkland and Gordon Myers.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Lonnie S. Burton; two sons, Gary Myers and Dwayne Tomlinson; and two sisters, Darlene and Patricia Thomas.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, two daughters, Kimberly (David) Betts and Patricia Tomlinson; five sons, David (Cathrine) Burton, Richie Shinholster, and Tyrael, Jamirez and Jamari Burton; grandchildren, Gary (Melinda) Ramsey, Dallas (Heather) Cook, Danielle (Nylan) Bell, Marquerite (Aaron) Burkett, Chanel (Danielle) McCray, Monique (John) Lewis, Nicole Tomlinson, Dwayne Tomlinson, April (Chris) Haskins, Janina (Ray) Tomlinson, Marquise Cash, Dawan Haskins, Deon Miller, Tamkia (Latoya) Tomlinson, Tiara (Colon) Tomlinson and David McCoy, and Darren, Patricia, and Jeremy Tomlinson; special great grandchildren, Jaiden, Aaliyah, Jakayla, Kanye, Javier, and Ja'Mylen; two daughters-in-law, Pamela Myers and LaNettra Tomlinson; two sisters-in-law, Barbara and Kimberly Burton; brother-in-law, Robert Burton, uncle, Richard Kirkland; and many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren; special friends, Jhonnie Mae Mills, Barbara Banks, Carol Miller, Sonya Williams, Virginia Parker, Peggy lee, Candy (Bernard) Horton and Evangelist Shirl Lewis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
