KELLY D. PRIMES

Kelly D. Primes, 56, of Akron, Ohio passed away on April 10, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. 

Kelly was a devoted father, loyal friend, and protector of his family. He found joy in the simple things, spending time with people he loved the most. He also loved watching sports, especially when he had someone to talk trash with, and he always made sure everyone around him felt safe and was looked after. His presence was powerful, his love was fierce, his laughter could fill a room, and his smile would brighten your day!

To know Kelly was to know someone would always have your back. He didn't just watch over his family...he lived for them. Whether it was a backyard cookout, a big game on T.V. or a quiet conversation, he made everyone feel like they mattered. 

Kelly was preceded in death by both of his parents, Henry and Charlie Mae Primes; sister, Marsha Primes; and brothers, Michael and Christopher Primes.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Jennifer Donald; daughter, India (Darshawn) Rogers; granddaughter, Charlie Mae Rodgers; sister, Sharlene Ward; sister-in-law, Lynda Donald; special nephew, Brandon McKenzie; best friend/cousin, Tirun Carswell; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
