JESSIE LEE CARSON

Jessie Lee Carson was born February 1, 1938 to parents Geneva Mack Sherman and Jesse Jack Sherman. She was a proud lifetime resident of Akron and a 1957 graduate of North High School. She was married 48 blessed and loving years to husband Jimmy Eugene Carson SR. She was an excellent cook, making birthday cakes for her family. Jessie Lee Carson embraced being a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her family. She was also as a neighborhood Mom of the Roslyn Block.

In her youth she enjoyed rollerskating, playing jacks and marbles, and bowling in leagues. She was an avid church goer attending The Original Church of God. Enjoying listening to the Jeffreys chorus, Jeffrey Jrs, and jefferiettes.

She is preceded in death by husband Jimmy Eugene Carson SR. Parents Geneva Mack Sherman and Jesse Jack Sherman. Sisters Mary Bowman and Elsie Sherman. Granddaughter Dominique Linear. Great granddaughter, Brieannah Shakira Warren.

She is survived by sisters Trella Chambers and Sarah Williams. Brother in-law Duane Carson. Children Pamela M. Love, Jimmy E. Carson Jr. (Vicki), Barbara A Cheatham, and Michael L. Carson (Deborah). Grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends
