JERRY D. BENNETT

Mother Jerry D. Bennett, 94, passed away peacefully at her home September 13, 2025.  Born in Yantley, Alabama, she was a longtime member of the Akron Community.  Jerry was a worldwide traveler, visiting several countries abroad and nationally. She was a registered nurse, working for BF Goodrich.  She was a proud graduate of Akron East High School and furthered her education graduating from Cuyahoga Community College. Jerry loved her church and her family and was an active member of Greater Bethel Baptist Church. 

Jerry is preceded in death by her parents Rufus and Gertrude Brunson; husband, Hudson Bennet Jr. and daughter, Catherine Williams

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, son, Hudson III; grandsons, Hudson IV and Hayes. 

Jerry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
