JEFFREY ALLEN KEYES

Jeffrey Allen Keyes was born on September 3, 1983, in Barberton, Ohio, to the proud parents of Glenda Keyes-Stevens and Gregory Allen Chambers. He departed this life on May 11, 2025, at Akron City Hospital.

Jeffrey was baptized in Jesus Name at Community Holiness Church in Barberton, Ohio Under the leadership of the late Deacon Marvin Cheatham. He was employed at Tocoma Company in Barberton, Ohio.

Jeffrey was a very caring and loving man to his children, family, friends, and everyone that he met. He had a very contagious smile. His smile would leave you smiling too. It was always a joy to be in his presence.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dorothy Keyes; grandfathers, Frank Turner, Jr. and Sonny Chambers; uncles, Brian Keyes and Burney Mitchell (Porky).

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving parents, Glenda Keyes-Stevens (John) of Akron, Ohio and Gregory Allen Chambers (Janice) of Barberton, Ohio; his son, Isaiah Mowls; and daughter, Rebecca Robbins whom he loved dearly. His “Granny”, Gertha Boyd of Cleveland, Ohio; brother, his Jamar Keyes (Tara Keyes) of Canton, Ohio; and his sister, Jalisa Keyes of Barberton, Ohio; uncles, Joey Keyes of Akron, Ohio, Timothy Keyes of El Paso, Texas, Neil Keyes of Akron, Ohio, Marvin Chambers Jr. of Barberton, Ohio, Delbert Chambers, Sr. of Columbus, Ohio, and John Chambers of Akron, Ohio; his aunts, Charlene Keyes, Barbara Keyes, Constance Keyes, and Kathleen Mathis all of Akron, Ohio; and Carolyn Neloms (Fred) of Barberton, Ohio; and his Companion Tammie Beaty.

Jeffrey also leaves nieces and nephews, Daysha Ray (Anthony), Noah Blumenkamp, Marcus, Ma’Kya, Neveah, Jamar, Jr., and Javion Keyes, whom all loved their “Uncle Jeff” dearly; also, many special cousins in his large family, their bonds and memories will be cherished and remembered.
