JB SMITH

JB Smith, age 92 of Canton, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on August 27, 2021.  He was born on January 18, 1929 in Mississippi to the late Ethel Smith. 

JB moved to Canton, Ohio at an early age.  He retired from Luntz Corporation as a machine operator.  JB was a lover of the Cleveland Browns, The Indians, and WWE Wrestling.  He also loved cars, preferably Cadillac’s.  He was a former member of Mount   Olive Baptist Church and transitioned to Union Missionary Baptist Church.  JB Smith will always be remember by his loving and caring disposition, warm smile, and his ability to out-dress the best of them!

In addition to his mother, JB was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Viola E. Smith; brothers, Cleo Smith, Anderson Smith, Patrick Smith, Jessie Smith, RS Richardson; sisters, Rubie McNeal, Mary Davis, Lou Emma Pearson, Pat Smith; sisters-in-law, Honey Smith, Katie Richardson; brothers-in-law, George Davis,  Jimmy Jackson; special niece, Victoria Davis.

JB leaves to cherish his precious memories to five loving children, Peggy Ann (Jerry) Shells , Jessie (Tina) Smith, Barbara (Michael) Smith-Boler, Anthony Jacobs, Eric Jacobs, Bryan Smith, Brandon Smith, Brittany Smith; brother, CL  (Martha) Richardson; sister, Ethel Jackson; special nieces, Rosa Richardson, Yeuma Davis-Dukes, Kim Smith; special great niece, Tiffany Davis-Msafiri; grandchildren, Victoria (Tariq) Moultrie, Ashley Smith, Justin Smith, Christopher Smith, Shambreon Harris, Stanley Calhoun, Kameron Boler; (22) great grandchildren, as well as a host of loving nieces and nephews.
