JAMES L JONES

James Jones passed away on July 19, 2025. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 25, 1937, to the late Anna Murkins and Lattice Jones. He proudly served in the United States Airforce and was honorably discharged.  After serving in the military, he moved to Akron, Ohio and started his family.  He retired from JoAnn Fabric after many years of dedicated service.  He was a wonderful father and grandfather; he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. 

In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by 9 siblings. 

James leaves to cherish his precious memory his (2) daughters, Yvette Jones and Yolanda Clark; (2) sisters, as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, special nieces, nephews and friends.
