JAMES FLUELLEN SR.

James Fluellen Sr. transitioned from his earthly home to his Heavenly home on October 4, 2025, at Akron General Medical Center. He was born July 23, 1937, to Roselle and Tim Fluellen in Lee County Alabama.

James moved to Akron, Ohio to raise his children and retired from Sterling Jewelers of 64 years. James loves golfing and fishing as a hobby. 

James our beloved is preceded in death by his parents Roselle and Tim Fluellen; daughter, Danielle Fluellen Harrell; brother, Robert Fluellen; sisters, Nellie Coleman, Marie Brooks, Rozell Sumbry; companion of more than 30 years. 

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his son, James (Lori) Fluellen Jr., daughter, Jacqueline Fluellen; grandchildren, James (Samantha) Fluellen III, William (Bri) Fluellen, Tony (Tatianna) Schumacher, Brandon Fluellen, Terrance Fluellen ;sisters, Johnnie Mae (James) Jacobs, Betty Richardson; special cousins, Norma Johnson Miller, Mike (Lori) Johnson, Melvin (Cheryl) Johnson, Barbara Love, and Shorter (Veronica) Griffin, as well as a host of great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
