GLORIA J. GOODWELL

Gloria J. Goodwell (Daggett) was born June 6,1941 to Minnie and L.C. Daggett in Montgomery, Alabama.  Raised on the Eastside of Akron, Ohio, she attended Akron East High School graduating in 1959. On January 6, 2025, she was called to rest in God’s garden of eternal rest.  She was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Preceded in death: mother, father, brothers: Louis and Leon; and sisters:  Barbara and Betty.  Gloria is survived by her daughter, Gina (Gerald) Gould; son, Garret (Nikki) Daggett.  She also leaves behind her cherished sister, Peggy Daggett, Wichita, Kansas and six adored grandchildren, Dasha, Tamarrah, Ashley, Isaiah, Justin and Lathan.  Gloria’s warmth, kindness, feistiness, and wavering love for family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
