GENEVA TAYLOR

Geneva Wheatt Taylor gained her wings on January 17, 2025, at the age of 79. Geneva was born on November 3, 1945, in Montgomery, Alabama where she graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. She later moved to Akron, Ohio where she met her late husband Willie B. Taylor. 

She was employed by the Doylestown Health Care Center where she worked and retired after 30 years. 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Maggie (Saint) Wheatt; her husband, Willie B. Taylor; her sister, Lena (May) Wheatt; her brothers, David Wheatt and Leon Wheatt; her daughter, Valencia Ray; and her child's father, Lee Arthur McCall. 

Geneva leaves to cherish her memories, her sister, Georgia Scott of North Carolina; sons, Arthur LaVell McCall, Brandon Taylor and Reginald Shorn Taylor; grandchildren, Brittany McCall, Kiarra Prevo, Kadarra Prevo, Artasia Heath of Detroit, Michigan, Sean Taylor, Jasmine B. and Journee Taylor and JaMyran Jackson; great grandchildren, KaMari, Hendree, Major, Omar, Jayden R., Kovauni, K'Launi-Dior and Angelo B.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
