ERIC KELLY

Eric Kelly departed this life suddenly at his home on July 30, 2025.

Born on March 20, 1969, in Akron, Ohio, Eric was the beloved son of James and Thomasine Kelly. A proud graduate of Firestone High School, he went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Akron. His compassionate spirit led him to a longstanding career with Job and Family Services, where he served his community with dedication.

Eric had a passion for nurturing young minds through tutoring and expressed his soul through the art of poetry. He was a devoted member of the Northeast Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

He is preceded in death by his loving parents, James and Thomasine Kelly; his cherished wife, Nwamaka; his dear cousin, Deborah Tucker; and his half-brothers, Gerald (Elois) and Glen.

Eric leaves behind a legacy of kindness, faith, and quiet strength. He will be deeply missed by his aunt, Joan Dudley; cousin, Sabrina Rock (Joseph); and a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
