ELMORE DOWDELL, JR.

Elmore Dowdell, Jr. passed away on January 21, 2025. He was a fun loving human being with an upbeat attitude. He grew up on a farm in Alabama and moved to Ohio at 18 years old. He was a butcher for 30 years and raised a family. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing bingo, and having a nice car to drive. 

Elmore was preceded in death by his father, Elmore Dowdell, Sr.; mother, Rochelle Ford; brothers, Ronnie Dowdell, Melvin Dowdell and Jacob Dowdell.

Elmore is survived by six children, Elmore Dowdell, III (GA), Gregory Dowdell (GA), Marian Adams (GA), Connie Dowdell (GA), Bryan Dowdell (OH) and Tracy Wilson (GA); in addition to a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
