Edward Jerome Paige was born August 5, 1960 in Miami Florida, to the late Willie James Paige and Minnie Helen Bushner. He was the baby boy of his mother's children.
Edward Jerome Paige's high school education began at East High School in Akron, Ohio where he then decided, in 12th grade, to become a dedicated United States Marine. Known for his leadership, unwavering spirit and commitment to his fellow Marines, Edward Jerome Paige proudly served his country with loyalty and courage for 24 years, including multiple combat tours, before retiring in 2002. After his military service, Edward settled in Orlando, FL where he worked as a fuel truck driver until 2022.
Edward Jerome Paige passed away on December 30, 2024 at the age of 64. Joining his loving parents, Willie James Paige and Minnie Helen Bushner, eldest brother, Otis Paige, and son, Jerome Earl Paige.
He leaves those to cherish his loving memories and legacy: wife Lisa D. Paige, Winter Garden, FL; his beloved children: daughter; LaToya (Byron) Prevost, Cape Canaveral, FL; sons: Tyrone Paige Albany, GA; Demetrius Bewley ,Akron, OH; and Jeramiah Wheeler Orlando, FL. Grand Children: Mikael Paige, Nova Prevost, Zacaria Paige, Tyrone Paige, Jr., Caitlyn Ramos, and Ashymin Gude. Brothers: Willie (Kim) Paige, Jr., Akron, OH, Damani (Carla) Curley, Nashville, TN, Anthony (Lisa) Noguera, Evergreen AL, David (Dakeyla) Steger, Birmingham, AL. Sisters: Minnie Thomas, Sharon Bushner, Bernadette Jackson, Erica Lopez, Caroline Bell, Lakisha Bushner, Jessica (Clyde) Prewitt, Quanteca (Antwan) Steward, Juwana Owens, Breanna Woodard, Schrie Snell (all from Akron, OH), and Katrina Bushner, Ocoee, FL, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
