EDITH NOVELLA HILL "COOKIE"

Edith Novella Hill, age 70 of Canton, passed away on December 10, 2025 after a sudden illness. She was born on March 3rd 1955 to James Denny II and Dorothy (Gentry) Denny. She is the 4th child of 6 children. She is a graduate of McKinley Sr. High School. Novella (Cookie) loved and served the Lord for 36 years. She loved her 5 children, Sherronda (Roni) Denny, Malinda (Denny)Broyles, Jesse (Sug) Hill (Sharon), Candice Hill, and Nekendra (Hill) Trimble. 15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Cookie was proceeded in death by both her parents and her sister Janet (Denny) Wright. She is survived by 3 sisters, Belva Hill of N. Carolina, Jacqueline Evans (Jimmy), and Dawn Jones (Tony). 1 Brother James Denny III (Patricia). Novella was a good sister, a trusted friend, a favorite Auntie and a loving mother. She was generous in her giving of time love and resources. Sista Cookie, Novella, Mommy, Gammy will be greatly missed. We will love you always. Rejoice with Jesus Mommy.
