EDDIE LEE ADAMS, JR.

Eddie Lee Adams, Jr. was born in Akron, Ohio on October 17, 1968. He gained his wings on May 25, 2023 at the age of 54. He was called home after battling lung failure.  

Eddie lived in Akron, Ohio most of his life, but moved to Charlotte, NC in 2006 with his dad Eddie Lee Adams, Sr. Eddie loved cars and was known for his deuce and a quarter. He loved racing his truck at the racetrack, as well as working on cars doing mechanical & body work. Eddie loved jazz music and was very laid back. He met the love of his life in Charlotte, Ella Currence, who never left his side.

Eddie is proceeded in death by his father, Eddie Lee Adams, Sr. and his mother, Eloise Adams. Eddie is survived by his Siblings: Eric Johnson, Sr. and Rachel Taylor. Children: Daica Rogers and Shayne (Christina) Hunnewell. Grandchildren: Zane Rogers and Gracie Hunnewell. Common-law Wife: Ella Currence. Cousins: Lenora Taylor, Johnny Boy Taylor, Tony Taylor, Marilyn Taylor, Roosevelt Harris, Garfield Hooks, Vanetta Ayers, Michael (Gail) Harris, Sr. and Pearline Harris. Nieces and Nephews: Shardae Taylor, Eric Johnson, Jr. and Margeniece Johnson. Best Friend: Terry “Pete” Walker. Special family: T. Richard Blair & Lou Johnson.

He loved his Alabama family - Aunts: Edna and Rosie Adams, Hazel Farmer, Fannie Scott; Cousins: Herman Adams, Maria Ross, Townsend Ross, Stephanie Ross, Sonja Ross, Claretha Ross, Angela (Christopher) Adams King, Latisha (Green) Adams Tarver, Willie Adams, Jr., Francis (Floyd) Adams, Barbara Adams and Catherine Adams. Uncle Willie (Frances) Adams. He leaves to cherish a host of stepchildren, step grandchildren, family and friends.
