EAN R. WELLS

Ean Rodnell Wells was born April 21 1986, to Ms. Melva Williams and Mr. Roger Wells. 
 Ean Wells graduated from High School in 2004. He attended Albany State University his first year of college them continued his education at Georgia Perimeter where he obtained an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice. He later enlisted in the United States Military for 6 years where he became a United States National Guard and also served as an Honor Guard with the ranks of Corporal Ean Wells. In 2011 Ean graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. In 2013 Officer Ean Wells became employed at the Dekalb County detention center with the position of Detention Officer 3. Ean was a die-hard Ohio State fan.  He also loved the Green Bay Packers and was a champion gamer. He enjoyed Sunday dinners and spending time with family. He was a quiet spirit who’s radiant smile and eagerness to talk and share with others was so amazing that he touched the lives of so many. 
 
On Sunday, July 29, 2018, Ean Wells was carried home to rest by the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. He leaves to cherish his loving memories his parents, Melva Williams and Roger Wells; his brothers Benjamin Wise and Emon (Brittany) Dozier; sisters, Sharmaine Wise, Eleashia Wells, Amaris Wells; a host of nieces and nephews; Aunts and Uncles and beloved cousins.  He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Melvin and Erma Williams Sr. and Rodger and Dorothy Jean Wells. 
 
A Celebration of Life Service has taken place in Decatur, GA.  Ean Wells will be laid to rest on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11am, at Sunset Hill Burial Park, 5001 Everhard Rd Canton,OH 44718. Repass to follow at 1pm at Wells of Joy Church of God in Christ, 2056 Tuscarawas St E; Canton, Ohio 44707.
