DUSTIN DAVIS Obituary

Dustin Darnell Davis, age 45 was born to the late Victoria Davis and Curtis Bendson September 23, 1976 in Canton, Ohio. He departed this earthly life and gained his heavenly reward on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 following an extended illness.

Dustin loved the Lord and accepted Christ at an early age. He was baptized and a member of Deliverance Christian Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Warren C. Chavers.  He was a 1995 graduate of Timken Senior High School. He developed a passion for cooking and moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to attend Le Cordon Bleu Institute of Culinary Arts, graduating in the class of 2008. He went on to work for Heinz Field, Quicken Loans Arena and Blossom Music Center. He helped open many area restaurants including Brownstone, Cheeseburgers in Paradise, Sports Therapy, TD’s Tail Gate and many others. As an entrepreneur he successfully ran All Good Catering by Chef Davis and catered many private events. His ultimate dream was to have a food truck named Durty Dogs.

Dustin was also known as Darnell,  D, Durty D, Chef Davis, Dar Nelly, Dad and G-Daddy. Darnell loved his family so much. He loved his children, grandchildren and his sisters. He was a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan. Win or Lose he was going to be watching the game with full Browns gear. He was the life of the party he loved to karaoke and dance. He had a way of making people feel loved, special and appreciated. He was a good guy and we know people will miss him walking into the room  saying “What’s good my beautiful people?”

Dustin is preceded in death by his mother Victoria Lynne Davis, Children Marqueesha, Myron and  Trayvon and grandparents George and Mary Davis,  grandmother Nancy L. Clay and grandfather Ronald Holston

Dustin is survived by his father Curtis Bendson; children, Victoria Davis, Adriauna Hofacre, Makala Hofacre, Javon Travis, Dustin Davis, and Francesca Jenkins; Sisters, Tiffany (Larry) Hunter, Raquel (Tyrone) Roberts, Lytoria (David) Whitfield, Chasidy Johnson and Malyra Bendson of Bowing Green, Kentucky. (5) grandchildren Ka’Marie, Ka’Leise, Ka’Leigah, Cartier and Roland

Aunts, Clora Mae Banks of Chicago, IL, Yeuma (Johnny) Dukes, Rosetta Johnson-Davis, Special- Uncle and Aunt Derrick and Trena Grimes , Craig Bendson, Leon Bendson, Tracy (John) Crosby, Dimitri (Kelvin) Miles, Ronna (Sunny) Kiluvia and Cheryl (Zedric) McDonald. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Darnell also extended his love to his children’s siblings as if they were his own.
