DENISE R. WRIGHT

Denise “Neece” R. Wright, born March 25, 1958, left to be with the Lord on February 11th, 2025.

Denise was a lifelong resident of Akron, OH. She graduated from North High School class of 1976.  Later, she worked as a surgical technician at Akron Summa Health System. Denise left Summa to take care of her mother and later her husband Kevin Wright.

Denise loved cooking and cooking shows, shopping, and traveling with cruising being her joy. Denise was a breast cancer survivor for over 10 years.

 
Preceded in death by husband Kevin Wright, son Russell Carter, parents James R. Blair and Wanda S. Tyner, sister Jacqueline Ray. Denise leaves to cherish her memories son Shamar L. Carter of Akron, OH, granddaughter Shaunteenaye Carter of Akron, OH, sisters Mary J. (William) Bolton of Cincinnati, OH, Regina Gainer of Akron, OH, Alison “Punken” L. Campbell of Columbus, OH, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. She also leaves special friends Deborah Simmons, Judy Johnson and Diane Tinker.
