DEACON LAVELL J. LAWSON

LaVell, born on June 22nd in Canton, Ohio, was a devoted son, father, brother, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.  Born to Eugene and Jonnie, LaVell was raised in Canton, where he built a life rooted in family, faith, and friendship.

LaVell dedicated his professional life to the delivery industry, working for 1st Choice Delivery.  He was known for his strong work ethic and reliability, qualities that reflected the steady and dependable nature so many admired.  Outside of work, he found joy in life's simple pleasures.  He loved golfing, fishing, and bowling, and few things made him happier than a competitive game of spades with family.  Sharing meals with those he loved was one of his favorite pastimes, as it gave him time to connect, laugh, and create lasting memories.

A proud Steelers fan and a loyal friend to many, LaVell carried his passions with enthusiasm.  Above all, he was deeply committed to his family.  He was especially devoted to looking after his mother, a responsibility he embraced with love and dedication.  His faith in Jesus Christ guided his life and sustained him through both joyful and challenging times.

LaVell leaves to cherish his memory his beloved mother, Jonnie; his two sons; his step-daughter; his sister, Stacie; and his niece.  He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene; his wife; his step-daughter; his brother, Larry; and his sister-in-law.

LaVell's legacy is one of loyalty, faith, and unwavering devotion to family.  He will be remembered for his warm spirit, his steadfast heart, and the countless lives he touched.
