Charles Anthony Hilton was born in Akron, Ohio on November 3rd, 1960, to Herbert and Emma Hilton. He attended Buchtel High School where he was an active member of the wrestling team, and both the drama and debate clubs. Charles grew attending St. Paul Fire Baptized Holiness Church in Akron where he received his religious education and doctrine. In his youth he enjoyed playing little baseball and was an excellent bowler. Charles had an interest in business and marketing, so he decided to further his education. He attended the University of Akron to pursue his dream until 1983 when unfortunate events led him to lose his vision. Even with this new challenge, he continued to seek higher education.
