CASSIE ANDERSON

Cassie Lee Anderson, 100, went to her great reward on Thursday, January 12, 2023. 

Cassie Lee was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 19, 1922. She moved to Akron with her family and attended Akron Public Schools.

Cassie worked as an operator for Ohio Bell and retired in 1992 after 21 years.

Cassie loved family and friends, she enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, and listening to music.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse; mother Gladys Flowers; father Gilbert Foshee; brothers, Samuel G. Foshee, Narry Foshee, Maurice Terrell; sisters, Maggie Arnold, and Yvonne Morton.

She is survived by devoted son Kevin; brothers; Donald Flowers, Gilbert T. (Delores) Foshee, and William (Margaret) Foshee; sisters; Delores Howard, Janie Foshee, and Ayesha Nurruddin; Cousin Margaret Roberts, special friend Myrna Marple, nieces, nephews, and friends.
