Caronda “Jean” Womack-Streeter gained her wings on Saturday, April 16, 2022. She was born on August 28, 1960 to her late mother Acquanetta (Womack) Sanders and late father Vincent Degraffinreed.
Caronda was baptized at Mt. Calvary Second Missionary Baptist Church and sang in the youth choir. She attended Canton City Schools graduating from McKinley Sr. High Class of 1979 and was employed by Merritt Plastic Steel Mill.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Sandy Lee and Alice M. (Henry) Womack; paternal grandparents, Lee Taylor and Thelma (Degraffinreed) Taylor; her daughter, Acquanetta Watkins; sister, Deloris Hill; stepfather, Joseph Sanders; great grandson, King Womack, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Caronda leaves to cherish her precious memories to her son, Ray M. Womack; long time companion, Theodis Watkins; sisters, Arnetta “Piggy” Womack of Los Angeles, California, Tracy Degraffinreed, Veronica Singleton, Kracia Williams all of Canton, Ohio, Tanisha Degraffinreed and Raina Wilson of Charlotte, North Carolina; brothers, Luther (Lisa) Womack of Akron, Ohio, Jamey (Toya) Sanders and Dorian Seymour of Canton, Ohio, Joey and Troy “Baby” Sanders of Houston, Texas; (8) grandchildren, Tevin Womack, Ra’Nique Womack, Rae’Von Womack, Ray Womack II, Karlie Womack-Walthers, Katara Womack-Walthers, Chloe Jean Womack-Walthers, Marae Jean Lucas Womack; (4) great grandchildren, Serenity Womack, Emenna Womack, Emmalina Womack, Iyani Womack; aunts, Mrs. Jerri Womack (Otha) Pretty of Raleigh, NC, and Mrs. Luehieledry “Lulu” Womack-Drue of Massillon, OH and special cousin, Kimberly (Kenneth) of Laurel, Maryland as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
