It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Carol Waite, a beautiful soul who touched the lives of many. She transitioned from her earthly home on Friday, September 15th. She is now resting comfortably in the arms of the Lord.
She was born in Manhattan New York on February 25, 1951, to Camilla Goodman and Frank Waite. She relocated to Akron, Ohio and there she resided with her special niece Michelle Wyatt, who devoted her life to being her caregiver.
Carol was a kind, gentle, and compassionate person who loved her family. She had a heart of gold and a contagious smile that could light up any room. She was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed. Carol loved seafood, crocheting, reading comic books, and watching Jeopardy.
Despite facing many challenges throughout her life, Carol remained resilient. Carol's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her memory will live on forever. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
Carol was preceded in death by her daughter Danielle Waite, sister Ardelia Wyatt, and brothers Jimmy Schley and Melvin Schley.
Carol leaves to celebrate her life with her special niece Michelle whom she adored, her granddaughter Lisa Henriquez her great-granddaughter Cumilla her brother Henry and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
