CARMILLA BRAZIL

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carmilla Brazil. She was born on July 18, 1967, and passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 57; she was a long-time resident of Akron, OH. Carmilla was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend; a beautiful soul who would help anyone. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, and spending time with her friends and family. Carmilla will forever live in our hearts and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her father, Herman Anderson, and her late son, Shamar Brazil-Batties. She is survived by her mother, Beverly Saddler, her sisters, Toia and Cherry, her brothers, Herman, Larry, and Ricky, children, Antwon Brazil, Terrell Brazil, Rayshawn Brazil, Rasha (Cierra) Primes, and Malcolm (Meech) Primes, and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, and friends.
