BRIAN A. THOMAS

Brian A Thomas, age 59, passed away on January 10, 2025 in Canton, Ohio. Brian was born on July 15, 1965 in Jersey City, New Jersey. He is preceded In death by his loving mother Sheila Howard and his father S.V Thomas. Brian’s favorite hobbies included working on cars with his nephew and niece, fishing, camping and stupidvising any situation. He was always the life of the party. Even after 4 and a half years of sobriety, he continued to bring energy and enthusiasm to any gathering. Brian was described as a straightforward jack… of all trades. He had a unique way of showing he cared, he was deeply involved in his grandchildren’s lives and was always ready to lend a helping hand to all whom he loved and cared for. He is survived by his siblings; Kevin Dunbar, Alonzo Thomas, Lisa Thomas, Glen Prestwood and Timothy Sims (Wendy) as well as his children; Shontia, Shawn, Brianna, Boyd, Bria and Bene’ Thomas. He is also remembered by his lifelong friends, Marcello Texira, Anthony Randle, Kevin Randle and Lamont Jefferson (Tina) and a host of nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
