BRENDA MARIE HAWKINS

Brenda Marie Hawkins transitioned from this life at the tender age of 77 on Saturday, December 6, 2025. She lived a full and meaningful life. Brenda was born on June 30, 1948, to Henry and Delores Hawkins in Alliance, Ohio. She attended Alliance City Schools and accepted Christ at an early age. She lived most of her life in Alliance, Ohio, and later moved to Canton, Ohio, at the age of 37. She was employed at Roselane Nursing Home, where she dedicated many years to caring for others. Brenda was soft-spoken, loving, and devoted to God. She was a faithful member of Greater Bethel Apostolic Church. Brenda enjoyed cooking, especially frying fish, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. She found great joy in caring for her nieces and nephews, and loving on her family brought her peace and happiness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Delores Hawkins; her sister, Cynthia Preston; and her brothers, John Hawkins Sr. and Joseph F. Brown. She leaves to cherish her memory with love her son, John Hawkins Jr. (Eric Orlander) of Canton, Ohio; her sister, Louise Collins of Tucson, Arizona; her brother, Matthew Brown of Covington, Kentucky; her sister-in-law, Louella Hawkins of Canton, Ohio; her special friend, James Jackson; her aunt-in-law, Margaret Henderson of Canton,OH; her uncle-in-law, Reverend Lewis Jenkins of Canton,OH; her special nieces, Vina, Lawanda, Judy, and Dena; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
