BETTYE J. SANDERS

Bettye was born on March 22, 1951, to the late James and Darlena L. Sanders in Dubach, Louisiana.  She moved from Ruston, Louisiana to Akron, Ohio where she stayed for over 30 years.

Bettye confessed Christ at an early age, she was an ordained Baptist Minister and a faithful servant of The Most High.  Bettye loved to shop and enjoyed time with family and friends.

Bettye graduated from Grambling State with an education degree and worked at Summa, Akron City Hospital.

 

She is preceded in death by LaQuila Sanders, Greg Sanders, Jerry Sanders, Odelia Fields, Elizabeth Sanders, Ozieal Milton, WillBee Banks, Cloteal Boyd, Henry Milton Norman and Lloyd Banks.

She leaves to cherish her memories, son Ugunda Sanders, Debra Sanders, Glen Sanders, Herletha Banks. Kathleen Banks, grandsons, Jonathan Sanders and Brandon Ward, great-granddaughter, Bri'Elle Ward, nieces, Shirley Linda Fields, nephews, James Sanders, Henry and Clifford Gary, great-nieces, Jasmine Fields, Ciaria and Jayonna Livingston, Jamie and Brittany Sanders, great nephews, James Fields, Sheldon Bell Jr., Henry Gary Jr., Jerquez Gary, The Stoudemire Family and a host of other relatives and friends.
