ATAVIA ROBINSON Obituary

Atavia Renee Lynn Robinson was born May 02, 2002, in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio to Gary A Robinson and Leah Russell.   Atavia passed away too young, on June 26, 2022 she gained her heavenly wings.

Atavia affectionately known as Tay Tay danced to the beat of her own drummer.  She had great dreams and ideas for her future to follow the steps of her cousins by becoming an entrepreneur.  Atavia was just beginning to blossom into the person she was meant to become. She was resourceful, determined, stubborn, loyal, compassionate, full of love and excitement.  Atavia’s warm beautiful smile would light up a room and revealed a heart of love.  Her laugh was contagious.  The energy of her presence touched everyone she came in contact with.  Atavia was loved deeply by her family, but she also deeply loved her special circle of friends whom she affectionately called “Sis”.

Atavia graduated May 2020 from the Akron Public School system.  After graduation Atavia explored several employment opportunities.  She enjoyed doing hair and often worked in retail sales of clothes. Atavia was beautiful inside and out.  During her teen years she volunteered at Rising Star Baptist Church Nursery and Culinary Ministry.  She took pride in becoming a great cook.  God gives each member of the body a gift.  Atavia had the gift of helps.  Atavia enjoyed helping anyone in need and often giving all she had to help out one her friends out.

It is hard to understand the mind of God and why someone so young would so tragically be taken from those who loved her so much, but we put our trust in God as we mourn Atavia’s death as we look to him to mend our broken hearts. Atavia leaves behind her Father Gary A (Nikita) Robinson of Akron; one brother Omari D. (Brenda Teran) Robinson of Dallas TX, Stepsister Trinity Tidwell; paternal grandparents Van R Jr and Renee Robinson (Youngstown, Oh). Her mother Leah (Morgan) Russell; two sisters Kameron (Charles Kramer) Knouse and Kylie (Tavian Pope) Knouse; Stepbrothers Xavier Avery and Tre Russell; and maternal grandparents Mark and Jeryl Pickett. She also leaves four nieces Kaellynn Knouse, Iris and Ilah Pope and Graceland Kramer; two nephews Kyven Pope and Charles Kramer Jr of Akron There will be a huge group of family and friends including her uncles who were extremely close to her, aunts, cousins and friends who will deeply miss her.
