ANNETTE STALLINGS

Annette Stallings (Net) was born on August 21, 1954, in Akron, Ohio to the late Booker and Lessie B. Stallings. She departed this earthly life on October 16, 2024. 

She attended East High School and have touched any and everyone that she ever came in contact with. She was our dancing dove. She always found dancing as a way to rebuke the devil and his negative energy. She had the biggest heart, that we as her family, have ever seen. She told her children and grandchildren that she didn't want us to cry for her, but for us to party like it was 1999! Our mother loved her family and loved to be with them.

She was preceded in death by her children, Allen J. Jerry J.C. and Ernestine A. Stallings; her grandchildren, Sariya Stallings and Cortez F. Donald, Jr.; her sisters, Betty Jean and Forrest Davis, Barbara Ann (Eddie) Skipper, Joyce Carter and Annie Stallings; brothers, James R. West, Rufus West and John West; nieces, Selena Walker, Marnetta Singleton-Wheeler, Cassandra Davis and Angela Davis. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, sisters, Patricia (Willie) Smith and Mary Stallings both of Akorn; sons, Laronzo J. Stallings (Bob), Solomon Stallings, Thomas (Marilyn) Stallings and Cortez Donald, Sr.; daughters, Lessie Stallings, Sandy Stallings-Hatcher and Shawta Donald all of Akron; 42 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and many special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
