AMARI BROGDON

Amari Imani Brogdon, age 1, affectionately known as "Mari" or "Baby-Shark" of Akron, Ohio departed this life on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Akron Children's Hospital with his mother by his side. 

Amari was born on January 30, 2024, in Akron, Ohio, the son of Heaven L. Brogdon and Johnny C. Burks. 

Amari was a son, nephew, grandson, cousin, and baby brother.

Amari was a beautiful soul inside and out, with a genuine bubbly personality. There was never a dull moment where he wasn't smiling, laughing, or just being plain ole silly.

Amari is preceded in recent deaths by his uncle Imani W. Tolbert; great-great-great-great aunt, Bouncil M. Brogdon; cousin, January Williamson; aunt, Arika B. Rogers.

Amari leaves to cherish his precious memory, his parents, Heaven L. Brogdon and Johnny C. Burks; (2) siblings, big brother, Angelo O. Brogdon, big sisters, Angel K. Dozier; grandmothers, Charmaine Y. Brogdon and LaShunta S. Stephens; grandfather, Jonathon Henderson; aunts, Nevaeh and Jenaeh Henderson, Ceara S. Coleman; uncles, Shedrick, James L., Trevelle L., Alonzo L. Brogdon, James Hawthorn, Jaden J. Slade; cousin, Chase I. Slade, and best friend, Jermaine "Ricky" Twiggs.
