Alice “Sister” A. McLeod-Roberson, born July 21, 1948 in Ozark, Alabama to the late Cherrie Mae (Taylor) Mcleod and Willie D. McLeod; was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 3, 2024 after an extended illness.
She graduated from McKinley High School in 1968; and retired from the Timken Company after 35 years. She was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church for many years; and served on the kitchen ministry until her health began to fail.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Willie Floyd McLeod and William McLeod; and her sister, Voncile McLeod.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Coralynn M. McLeod; two brothers, Wayne McLeod and Samuel (Denise) McLeod; aunt, Leotrice McLeod of Ozark, AL; and sister-in-law, Debbie McLeod; four grandchildren, Leon Johnson, Ryan (Erika) McLeod, Chynna McLeod, and Ta’ Lisha McLeod; 13 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; special friends, Gail Herring and Elder Sharon Johnson; former husband, Joe Roberson; cousin, O’Dell McLeod; and host of relatives and friends.
