ALEXIS NICOLE WATKINS-VIROLA

Alexis Nicole Watkins Virola gained her wings to be with the Lord on August 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. 

Alexis was born and welcomed into the world on May 28, 1995, to her parents Alisa Watkins and Sebastiano Virola. She attended both Akron Public and Canton City Schools. Alexis was a very smart and sharp minded person. She was always above average in her academics, and she earned a degree in Healthcare Management. Alexis worked various jobs throughout the Akron and Canton area until her health started to decline. Alexis never gave up hope, she was a real go-getter and had faith beyond measure, she was a true definition of living life with resilience, although she didn't have any children of her own, she had a strong love for children, just the mention of her nephew Milo's name would put a sparkle in her eye. 

Alexis was preceded in death by her mother Alisa Watkins, grandfather, John Watkins Jr. "Butch"; grandmothers, Frances Virola, Grace DuBose; great grandmothers, Christine Terry Johnson; aunt, Cristina Virola; great uncle, Ronnie Terry.

Alexis is survived by her father and stepmother, Sebastiano (Patrice) Virola; special brothers, Niko and Franco Virola, Malik Brown; brothers, Marco, Basty, Terrande, Rico, Antonio, Alex, Jerome, Jose; sisters, Zebree, Monique Virola, Daysha, DeJanae, Desire Watkins, Blazia Houston; special nephew, Miliano Virola; grandmother, Delores Watkins; grandfathers, Angelo Virola and Jackie DuBose; uncles, Keith Watkins, Kevin (Patricia) Watkins, Conrado (Latrice) Virola, and Joseph  DuBose; special aunt, April Watkins; aunts, Luci, Angie, Michelle, Little Angie, Carma, Jacqueline; special aunt, Dorothy Poole; special great uncle, Kim (Robin) Terry; special cousins, LaShawna , Rhonda, and JaVonna as well as a host of relatives and friends.
